The Employee Onboarding platform offers a variety of task types to help streamline your onboarding process. Here is a detailed description of each task type available:

To Do - This task type is perfect for when there is no physical deliverable to be provided and associated with the task. For example, if part of your onboarding process involves the employee/new hire reviewing their company profile or biography, you may add that as a ‘To Do’ task type. Once the new hire has completed this task, they can manually mark it as ‘Complete’. There is also an option to include a URL associated with the task.

Document Delivery - This task type should be utilized when the company needs the new hire to receive a document. For example, if one of your onboarding processes involves the new hire reviewing the Company Handbook, the ‘Document Delivery’ Task Type will allow you to attach a document to the task and viewable by the employee/new hire. There is also the option to require a signature, or a signature with a disclosure statement.

Document Request - This task type should be utilized when the company needs the new hire to return signed documents or provide other types of documentation. For example, if the company requires new hires to sign a copy of the handbook, the ‘Document Upload’ Task Type will allow the new hire to attach a document to the Task to show that it has been completed. Another example is if a new hire is required to provide a completed certification.

Tax Document - This task type allows you to send tax documents (from a set list of Federal and State W4s and W9s) to the employee for completion and signature. You can include one or more documents.

Forms (coming soon!) - This task type allows you to create an online form to send to an employee to complete, with the option to require a signature or a signature with a disclosure statement.

We hope this guide helps you better understand our task types and how to utilize them to streamline your onboarding process. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to our customer support team.
