Welcome to your Employee Onboarding platform! We understand that streamlining your onboarding process is essential for efficient employee integration. One of the key features of our platform is the ability to create custom workflows tailored to your organization's unique needs. In this article, we'll walk you through the steps to create a new workflow, making your onboarding process a breeze.

Step 1: Getting Started

To create a new workflow, log in to your Employee Onboarding platform account and navigate to the "Welcome" tab, located in the Main Menu. Once you're there, scroll down to the "Customize Your Workflow" section and select “Create a New Workflow”:

Step 2: Name Your Workflow

Now, it's time to give your workflow a name. Choose a descriptive title that reflects the purpose of this workflow. Whether it's for new hires, internal transfers, or any other specific onboarding process, a clear name will help you and your team easily identify it:

Step 3: Customize Your Workflow

This is where the magic happens! Customize your workflow by adding Steps. Start by defining the stages of your onboarding process. These could include tasks like "Pre-Orientation," "Documentation," "Training," and "Welcome." Each stage can have its own set of tasks and associated due dates:

Within each step, you may add specific tasks that need to be completed. For example, under "Direct Deposit Form," you might have tasks like "Direct Deposit Completion Request" and “Direct Deposit Upload.” Assign responsible team members to ensure accountability.

Remember that you can be as detailed as you need to be, creating a comprehensive roadmap for each new employee's journey.

Next, you can add an optional Welcome Message for your employees. Once reviewed, be sure to save your new template:

Creating a new workflow in your Employee Onboarding platform is a straightforward process that empowers you to design onboarding experiences tailored to your organization's needs.
